Frequenly Asked Questions
How To Order
How does the shop work?
FuzzyBoo Studio runs primarily on a pre-order basis, focusing on custom orders for both humans & pets. I will release a limited number of order slots at a set time & date on my Instagram page. All custom orders have a lead time of 3-4 months for production as I make my work in batches, and then 1-2 weeks to ship. Please order only if you can wait.
I will also have occasional restocks and seasonal drops announced on Instagram so make sure you follow us there!
How much is it to customise an order?
Prices vary according to the item and final design. A base price is listed on the product page, and additional charges apply to customisations. You'll be able to see the final price after completing the customisation form on the product page.

Pre-order vs. available items
Pre-Order: ALL custom orders are pre-order only as each piece is handcrafted specially for you. I will start making the piece once I've received your order. A lead time of at least 3-4 months is needed to make a piece from start to finish as I make work in batches.
Available: Pieces that are currently in stock and ready to ship.
Delayed orders
The process of handmade ceramics can be highly unpredictable and issues may arise at any stage of production. In the unfortunate event that I have to remake your item from scratch, the production timeline will be extended. I'll reach out via email as soon as possible to inform you the new lead time.
Can I cancel or amend my order?
Orders may be cancelled with a full refund OR amended within 24 hours of purchase, provided production has not begun. Please reach out to me via email: hello@fuzzyboostudio.com with your order number at the soonest possible. I will try my best to accommodate your request.

General Questions
What kind of clay and glazes are the wares made from?
I use imported stoneware clay from Australia and commercial glazes that are lead-free and food-safe (unless otherwise stated in the product description). All wares go through two rounds of firing - bisque and glaze - and are glazed fired to maturity at approximately 1200°C to ensure quality and longevity.
Can I put the wares in the microwave, dishwasher or oven?
- Ceramics are generally safe for microwave use (unless a crystalline or metallic glaze has been used, which will be explicitly stated in the product description).
- Make sure you use a gentle cycle and avoid harsh detergents when washing in a dishwasher. I do recommend hand-washing with warm water and dish soap to preserve the longevity of the pieces.
- Nothing in the oven please!
Any specific care instructions for the wares?
- I recommend hand washing your piece with warm, soapy water and a soft sponge. Avoid abrasive scrubbers.
- Let your piece air dry naturally after washing or use a soft cloth or paper towel if you need to dry quickly.
- Be mindful of temperature changes. Thermal shock due to drastic temperature changes can cause cracks in your piece (eg. fast cooling in the freezer after putting hot water in the cup).
